Chief logistics administrator

Chief logistics administrator Jeroen Vanden Berghe and the chief academic administrator together form the Management Committee, lead by the vice-chancellor (rector) and the deputy vice-chancellor (vice-rector).

The chief administrators have a seat in the Board of Governors and the Management Committee with advisory vote.

The chief administrators are responsible for:

  • the day-to-day management of the university
  • the co-ordination of the central university administration.

The chief logistics administrator is in particular responsible for the steering of the following departments:

The chief logistics administrator is also responsible for the Centre for Academic Heritage and Archives, which consists of the GUM/Botanical Garden and the University Archive.
